This is the first of two bathrooms being remodeled for the same client. To begin they started with a guest bathroom on the second level of their home. Originally, the shower had an additional set of 2x4’s making the shower feel like a cave. We removed these and let the shower open - along with removing a wall and door separating the bathing from the cabinets. The black fixtures give a moment of grounding for the space. All items were thoroughly thought about to make sure the original cabinets, door and trim would all work cohesively - to do this we made sure to keep warmth throughout the bathroom with tan veins throughout the countertop and brass edged mirrors.
